Craft Beer

Cheers!

    HOMELAND TAKEOVER  (14/05 - 01/06) :

    Zeebonk - NEIPA – 6.4%

Zeebonk NEIPA is the flagship beer of Brouwerij Homeland. This very popular Homeland beer has undergone a slight transformation. More oats and wheat in the malt recipe make the beer softer and smoother than ever before, and give it a slight haziness.

The yeast in this beer produces fruity esters of peach and tropical fruit. (Esters are chemical compounds formed by the combination of alcohol and an acid, and they give beer a fruity note.) Massive amounts of dry hopping complement this fruitiness.

No bittering hops are added during the boiling stage of the brewing process—only during the whirlpooling and dry hopping. As a result, Homeland Zeebonk NEIPA is intensely fruity and hoppy, but hardly bitter.

      Amsterdamse Wit – Witbier – 5%

Amsterdams Wit is a Belgian-style witbier brewed on Amsterdam soil. Large amounts of oats and wheat make the beer hazy and give it a pleasantly soft mouthfeel. The beer has low bitterness due to the use of a small amount of bittering hops. Loral hops in the whirlpool provide a floral aroma. This is complemented by the use of coriander seed, orange peel, and lemon peel, which give this summery beer a citrus-like taste and scent.

      Aloha
      – Raspberry Pale Ale – 4.1%

Aloha! The ocean greets you with waves of raspberries. Aloha Raspberry Pale Ale is fresh, light, and lively—perfect for sunny days or whenever you just need a touch of sunshine.

      Zeefruit
      – Gose – 4.7%

Zeefruit is a classic Gose with a Homeland twist. Through “kettle souring,” the wort (made from barley and wheat) was acidified over 48 hours to a pH of 3.1.

Coriander seed added during the boil provides a base of fresh citrus. Sea salt acts as a flavor enhancer, which, together with the sourness, adds complexity to the beer with a subtle salinity in the finish.

During fermentation, we added pure bergamot and lime juice to further emphasize the citrus character. Altogether, this makes for an incredibly refreshing thirst-quencher that, thanks to its pleasant 4.7% ABV, you can keep sipping with the sun on your face!

Embark on a flavor adventure in the depths, toasting to the unique combination of tart freshness that makes this Gose a true discovery!

      IEPa
      – IPA – 4.1%

IEPa, a beer made from elm seeds—especially for Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary. Amsterdam has more trees than people. With over a million trees, more than 75,000 of which are elms, we are the elm capital of the world. The elm is weather-resistant and vandal-proof—truly a tree made for vibrant city life.

      Second Date - Rock City / 7.5% / DIPA

Second Date is a "Refurbished" Double IPA with an alcohol content of 7.5%, brewed using hops that were previously used in an earlier IPA. This new creation is then heavily dry-hopped with a massive amount of fresh hops.

      Crank the Juice - Moersleutel / 5.5% /  NEIPA

Crank the Juice is a smooth, hoppy and hazy golden juice in a can! This hazy IPA is the equivalent of a well filled basket of exotic fruits. For this beer Moersleutel used a combination of Citra and Mosaic hops to give it a tropical and citrussy flavor. Crank the Juice has many fans and is a steady hero in our Moersleutel core range

      Glutenvrije bieren:

      Grisette Tripel Bio / 8% / Tripel

Grisette Tripel Bio Gluten-Free is part of the famous family of Belgian Tripel beers. The beer stands out with a unique personality in both aroma and taste, defined by a distinctive blend of classicism and modernity. This bottle-conditioned, top-fermented beer has a subtle aroma profile and a clear, warm blonde amber color with a beautiful shine. The foam head is fine and compact.
